What to Expect at Your Microneedling Appointment
Skin assessment
We evaluate your skin and confirm the right serum + technique for your concern.
Numbing
A topical anesthetic is applied for 20–30 minutes so the treatment is comfortable.
Treatment
The SkinPen procedure takes 30–45 minutes, depending on the area treated. Most clients describe the sensation as mild - like sandpaper, not pain.
Recovery
Skin will look pink or flushed (similar to a mild sunburn) for 24–48 hours. By day 3, redness fades. By day 5–7, you'll start seeing improved texture and glow.
Results timeline
Initial glow is visible within a week. Collagen-building results compound over 4–6 weeks. For acne scars and deeper concerns, a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart delivers the most dramatic improvement.
